Capstone REPS Charity Golf Tournament 2023 Recap
The Capstone REPS Annual Charity Golf Tournament for Shelter was a huge success this year, raising an impressive $38,863.65 for two important organizations: Guelph-Wellington Women in Crisis and Royal LePage Shelter Foundation. You can watch a recap of the fun-filled day here:
Guelph-Wellington Women in Crisis is an organization that provides essential services to women and children who are survivors of domestic violence and abuse. They offer a 24-hour crisis line, emergency shelter, counselling, safety planning, and advocacy services to help women and children escape dangerous situations and begin to rebuild their lives.
The Royal LePage Shelter Foundation is a national charity that supports women’s shelters and violence prevention programs across Canada. Their mission is to help end violence against women and children by providing funding and other resources to shelters and programs that work directly with survivors.
Our tournament brought together golfers and supporters from across the region to raise funds and awareness for these two vital organizations. Over the years, the tournament has become more evolved and this year’s fundraising total is a testament to the dedication and generosity of everyone involved.
The commitment, generous support and donations from community members and businesses allow Guelph-Wellington Women in Crisis and Royal LePage Shelter Foundation to continue their important work of supporting women and children in need.
