Maggie Horne is a long term resident of Wellington County, living on a 107 acre farm near Rockwood since 1988. She obtained her Veterinary degree from Ontario Veterinary College (OVC) in 1982, followed by postgraduate studies at both Cornell University and Ontario Veterinary College specializing in equine studies. After retiring from active practice, she obtained her real estate Broker’s license in 2000 focusing on both in town and rural properties throughout Wellington, Waterloo, Halton, Dufferin & Peel Counties. She uses her expertise in rural property ownership, including zoning & building bylaws, conservation land regulations and well & septic systems, to offer her clients a unique perspective & service in equestrian, agricultural and rural property ownership. Maggie enjoys breeding & competing Dutch Warmblood jumpers, pleasure riding, restoration of a c1855 stone farmhouse, gardening and travel.
